Veteran backup goalie Scott Clemmensen has re-upped with the Florida Panthers on a new two-year contract.

Financial details of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

The 34-year-old Clemmensen spent the past three seasons with the Florida Panthers, first backing up Tomas Vokoun and then Jose Theodore last season.

Clemmensen played in three games in the Panthers' first round series against the New Jersey Devils last post-season.

In 30 regular season games Clemmensen finished 14-6-6 with a 2.57 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.

In nine NHL seasons with three different teams, Clemmensen has a 2.64 goals against average and .910 save percentage.
