Report: Senators sign Neil to three-year contract extension

Chris Neil has signed a three-year contract extension worth $5.75 million with the Senators, according to a report in The Ottawa Sun.

The 33-year-old scored 13 goals and added 15 assists while recording 178 penalty minutes last season for the Senators.

Neil has spent his entire career with the Senators posting 90 goals, 110 assists, and 1,861 penalty minutes in 731 career games.

Neil was a sixth-round pick (161st overall) of the Senators in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
