Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Bruins inked goaltender Malcolm Subban to a three-year, entry-level contract on Thursday.
Subban, Boston's first-round pick (24th overall) in June's draft, posted a 25-14-0 record, 2.50 goals against average and .923 save percentage with three shutouts in 39 games for the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League last season.
In 72 appearances in Canadian juniors over the last three seasons, Subban, the younger brother of Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban, has gone 35-31-2 with a 2.76 GAA.
Following the completion of the deal, Subban will be a restricted free agent.
