Washington Capitals winger Jason Chimera is the latest player headed to Europe during the NHL lockout.

Chimera has agreed to terms with HC Chomutov of the Czech League and will join Chicago Blackhawks forward Michael Frolik and New York Islanders defenceman Milan Jurcina on the club.

The 33-year-old Edmonton native registered 20 goals and 19 assists through 82 regular season games last year, adding four goals and three assists in the playoffs.

To date, 327 games - all those scheduled through Nov. 30 and the New Year's Day outdoor Winter Classic - have been cancelled by the NHL.
