The Philadelphia Flyers appear to be adding some depth to their defence.

According to CSNPhilly.com, the Flyers will sign free agent defenceman Kurtis Forster, once the NHL and NHLPA sign off on the 'Memorandum of Understanding' which will officially end the lockout.

The length of the deal was not reported.

The 31-year-old recorded 4 goals and 10 assists in 51 games last season with the Minnesota Wild, Anaheim Ducks and New Jersey Devils.
