Mathew Dumba is returning to the juniors.
The Star Tribune reports that the Minnesota Wild will return Dumba, the seventh-overall selection in last year's draft, to his junior team, the WHL's Red Deer Rebels.
Dumba has been on the Wild's roster the entire season but hadn't played a game.
The 18-year-old had 10 goals and 23 points in 43 games with the Rebels before to joining the Wild after the NHL Lockout.
Dumba does not burn a year of eligibility.
