Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The NHL announced a goal change Monday for Pittsburgh's Chris Kunitz, crediting the left wing with an additional goal for Sunday's game against Washington to give him four in the contest.

The opening goal of the 6-3 Penguins win had originally been credited to Kunitz, but was changed to Paul Martin from Sidney Crosby. Martin's shot deflected into the net and on Monday it was finally credited to Kunitz.

As a result of the scoring change, Kunitz became the first Penguin with four goals in a game since Jaromir Jagr against the New York Rangers on Oct. 14, 2000 at Mellon Arena. He also became the first Penguin to score four in a road game since Mario Lemieux on Jan. 26, 1997 at Montreal.
