Munz: Bogosian returns to line-up as Jets host Penguins

Twenty-two year old Zach Bogosian returns to action tonight as the (5-6-1) Winnipeg Jets continue a three-game homestand against the (9-5) Pittsburgh Penguins at MTS Centre.

Bogosian has missed the first 12 games of the season due to a injury. TSN 1290's Shane Hnidy will speak with No. 44 during the Official Jets Pregame Show on TSN 1290 starting at 5pm ct with Rick Ralph.

Ondrej Pavelec of the Jets and Pittsburgh's Marc Andre Fleury will be the starting goaltenders.

24-year-old Eric Tangradi makes his Jets debut against his former team. In 45 career NHL games with the Penguins, Tangradi has one goal and four assists. His goal was scored on October 15, 2010 against the New York Islanders.
 
Evander Kane looks to end a seven-game scoring draught.

Winnipeg's defence continues to lead the NHL scoring with 34 points. St. Louis and Montreal blue liners each had 33 points.

The Jets are a combined 0-for-8 in their last three games on the power play.

The Jets have been outscored 14-7 by their opponents in the first period. In contrast, the Penguins have outscored their opponents 15-5.
 
It was four years ago today that Dan Bylsma was named head coach of the Penguins.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have feasted on the Atlanta/Winnipeg franchise. In 23 games, Crosby has 41 points (15 goals, 26 assists) while Malkin has 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists).
 
Both teams play again Sunday. Winnipeg hosts Boston (5pm ct on TSN 1290/TSN Jets) while Pittsburgh plays in Buffalo.
 
Following the Bruins game, the Jets embark on a five-game road trip starting Tuesday against the Sabres (6pm ct on TSN 1290/TSN Jets).
