The Boston Bruins got good news on forward David Krejci Monday morning.

Following the team's optional practice in Winnipeg, head coach Claude Julien said Krejci suffered no broken bones after taking a slap shot off his right knee in their 2-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.

Krejci did not skate with the team Monday, but got treatment on his knee instead and is listed as day-to-day.

The Bruins will decide later Monday evening if they will add another player for Tuesday's game against the Jets.

Krejci sits second on the team in points, with seven goals and 17 assists through 27 games. The 26-year-old is on a bit of a streak, collecting three points in the last two games.
