With the NHL Trade Deadline less than three weeks away, teams are making decisions on whether to buy or sell. Check out today's trade rumours and speculation from around the NHL beat, and follow TSN.ca each day until Deadline Day for all the updates.

Tough Decisions

The Winnipeg Sun's Paul Friesen spoke with Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff about what moves, if any, the club would make by the April 3 NHL trade deadline.

The team could be buyers or sellers depending on what happens in the next few weeks but if they are looking to add, Cheveldayoff knows what he's looking for.

"I'd love to be able to acquire something that could inspire some more scoring for us," Cheveldayoff told the Sun. "Our left side with Ladd and Kane has played well. Wheeler on the right side has played well. And the guys that have been auditioning up and down the lineup on the right side, you've seen some good things and you've seen some times where you wish you had more."

Should the Jets decided to become sellers, the club has seven players that are set to become unrestricted free agents after this season.

Friesen believes that Nik Antropov and Ron Hainsey would garner the most interest.

Focus On The Ducks

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com says that with both Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf locked up to long term deals, people will immediately jump to the conclusion Bobby Ryan and his $5.1 million salary will be gone this summer. But you also have to see what happens with veteran Finnish wingers Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne, both UFAs after the season. And in the case of Selanne, perhaps this is finally it but he won't decide until the summer.

Wanting to Stay

According to Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune, forward Bryan Bickell, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, wants to re-sign with the club.

"I don't want to be shipped around the league," Bickell said. "I want to be with one team."

General manager Stan Bowman praised Bickell's play this season.

"He's played great this year," Bowman told the Tribune. "He's … kind of coming into his own. Originally, it was learning what it was like to be just to be in the lineup every night and now it's more than that. He wants to be a difference-maker. He's got a role and he's playing that role. As a result, it's noticeable how that line in particular seems to be quite effective. Some nights they're our best line and he's a big part of it."
