Two key members of the Pittsburgh Penguins will have to wait at least one more game before they're instilled back into the lineup.

Forward Evgeni Malkin and defenceman Kris Letang skated with the team Friday morning but head coach Dan Bylsma told reporters following practice that neither player would suit up against the Islanders.

Malkin suffered an upper-body injury on March 9 after taking a hit from James van Riemsdyk in the third period of their shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Malkin, who missed four games with a concussion late last month, had just returned to the lineup. The 2012 Hart Trophy winner has missed the past six games because of the latest injury. He has five goals and 24 points in 21 games this season.

Letang missed Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Washington Capitals because of a lower-body injury. He leads all NHL defencemen with 28 points in 25 games this season.
