The Phoenix Coyotes have sent Steve Sullivan to the New Jersey Devils for a seventh-round pick.

The trade will be completed once Sullivan passes a physical.

Sullivan, 38, has appeared in 33 games this season and has five goals and seven assists.

The 15-year NHL veteran was originally drafted in the ninth round of the 1994 NHL Draft.
