After being pulled from each of his last two starts, Carey Price will begin Montreal's next game on the bench as Canadiens face the Penguins on Wednesday.

The club announced on Tuesday that Peter Budaj would start against Pittsburgh.

Price was pulled on Saturday after allowing three goals on four shots in Toronto. On Monday against the Flyers, he gave up two goals on his first five shots, and was pulled in favour of Budaj at the end of the second period after allowing six goals on 29 shots in total.

"Since we clinched, our intensity and concentration level, our attention to detail and our work ethic, have fallen a lot," said Canadiens' coach Michel Therrien on Monday night. "And you see the results.

"It's a game of pride. You have to come to the rink ready to play. That's what we were not doing the last two games. There's no work ethic there right now. It's disappointing."

In 11 games played this season, Budaj has a 7-1-1 record with a 2.19 goals-against-average and a .915 save-percentage.
