The Montreal Canadiens recalled Jarred Tinordi from the Hamilton Bulldogs and he will join the team for practice in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

In six games with the Canadiens this season, the rugged defenceman has one assist with a +2 rating.

He also had two goals and 11 assists for 13 points in 67 games with the Bulldogs, who failed to make the Calder Cup playoffs.

Tinordi was drafted 22nd overall by the Canadiens in 2010.
