The Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks have a plan for their two compliance buyouts.  General Manager Stan Bowman announced on Thursday that they will use them on defenceman Steve Montador and forward Rostislav Olesz if both players clear waivers.

Olesz has one-year and $4.25 million left on a six-year deal that has a cap hit of $3.125 million.

The-27-year-old forward appeared in 14 games with the Rockford IceHogs, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Blackhawks, where he scored seven goals and added 19 assists.
He has only played in six games for the Blackhawks at the NHL level and failed to register a point.

Montador, meanwhile, has two years and $4.1 million left on a deal that has him scheduled to earn $2.3 million in 2013-14 and $1.8 million in 2014-15. Both years carry a cap hit of $2.75 million.

The Vancouver native saw 12 games worth of action with the IceHogs this season and collected five points, including two goals and was a plus-1 rating.

He played the 2011-12 season with the Blackhawks and has also spent time with the Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, Anaheim Ducks, Florida Panthers and Calgary Flames during his NHL career.
