The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to terms with forward Kyle Beach on a one-year contract.

The 23-year-old registered 16 goals and 10 assists in 66 regular-season games with the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs in 2012-13 and paced the club with a career-high 204 penalty minutes.

The North Vancouver, British Columbia, native has tallied 37 goals and 35 assists in 162 career games with the IceHogs from 2008 to 2013. He has recorded three goals in five career Calder Cup Playoff games.

Beach was originally selected by the Blackhawks in the first round, 11th overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
