The New York Rangers signed Mats Zuccarello to a one-year, $1.15 million deal on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Norwegian, who had an arbitration hearing scheduled for Wednesday, was the final arbitration-eligble player to come to terms with his team.

Zuccarello featured in 15 regular season games for the Blueshirts last year, finishing the year with three goals and five assists. In 12 playoff games, Zuccarello had a goal and six helpers.

Hailing from Oslo, the undrafted Zuccarello is only the seventh Norwegian-born player in NHL history.
