Frisco, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Stars placed goaltender Kari Lehtonen on injured reserve Monday.

Lehtonen suffered a lower-body injury in an Oct. 11 game against the Winnipeg Jets.

The 29-year-old has played to a 2-1-0 record and 1.57 goals-against average this season.

In addition, the Stars activated defenseman Aaron Rome from the injured/non- roster list and loaned him to Texas of the American Hockey League. Forward Chris Mueller was also assigned to Texas.
