Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Winnipeg Jets placed defenceman Paul Postma on injured reserve Tuesday.

Postma is out indefinitely after a blood clot was discovered in his leg.

The 24-year-old Alberta native is pointless in eight games this season.

Defenseman Ben Chiarot was recalled from St. John's of the American Hockey League to fill Postma's roster spot.
