Nick Bonino is staying in Anaheim.

The Anaheim Ducks announced on Thursday that the centre agreed to a three-year contract extension. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports that the deal is worth $5.7 mill. in total.

The 25-year-old Bonino has appeared in 27 games this season and has seven goals and nine assists. He's fourth on the team in scoring.

Bonino, along with Timo Pielmeir, was acquired by the Ducks from the San Jose Sharks in March of 2009 in exchange for Kent Huskins and Travis Moen.

In 139 career games, the Hartford, Connecticut native has 18 goals and 31 assists.
