The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without forward Evgeni Malkin tonight when they face the San Jose Sharks.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Malkin is day-to-day after suffering a lower-body  injury during the morning skate.

Malkin, who has been the NHL's first star of the week for the last two weeks, is the second leading scorer in the league, behind teammate Sidney Crosby.
