Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Tuesday following a hit from behind on Boston Bruins forward Kevan Miller in Sunday night's game.
The hearing will take place on Tuesday at 10am et.
Late in the third period, Phaneuf hit Miller into the boards behind the Bruins net. There was no penalty on the play.
Phaneuf has never been suspended in his NHL career.
The Bruins won Sunday night's game 5-2.
