Flames send down forward Baertschi to the AHL

On the same day Jay Feaster was fired as the general manager of the Calgary Flames, the club sent down forward Sven Baertschi to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
The 21-year-old played 26 games with the Flames this season tallying two goals and nine assists.
The native of Langenthal, Switzerland was drafted in the first round (13th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
