Boston Bruins defenceman Dennis Seidenberg will miss the remainder of the 2013/14 season with a torn ACL and MCL, the team announced on Saturday.  His recovery time is expected to be six to eight months.

Seidenberg was injured in the third period of Friday's 5-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators, when he got his leg tangled with forward Cory Conacher.

In 34 games this season, the 32-year-old defenceman has one goal and nine assists as well as a plus-11 rating.
