Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo was not in the lineup in Vancouver's 4-3 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday after suffering an undisclosed injury Saturday night against the Los Angeles Kings, according to The Vancouver Sun.

Canuck general manager Mike Gillis told the paper that it's too early to know how long Luongo will be out and he will be re-evaluated Monday in Vancouver.

Luongo started for the Canucks in a 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday after missing three games with a lower-body injury. He was knocked down in his crease by Kings forward Dustin Brown but finished the game with a 46-save performance.

The team signed netminder Rob Laurie to a professional try-out contract on Sunday afternoon to serve as a back-up to Eddie Lack.
