The Olympics are over for Paul Martin.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and United States defenceman could be out for as a long a month with a hand injury.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Rob Rossi reports that since the 32-year-old has yet to be evaluated by the Penguins' own medical staff, the team has not made a final prognosis.

He will be replaced in the line-up for the U.S.'s semi-final with Canada by Carolina Hurricanes blueliner Justin Faulk.
