Senators recall G Hammond from Binghamton

The Ottawa Senators have recalled goaltender Andrew Hammond on an emergency basis from the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Hammond, 26, has a record of 17-12-3 with Binghamton this season with a 3.02 goals-against-average and a .903 save percentage through 33 appearances.

He signed a two-year entry level contract with the Senators on March 20, 2013.

Ottawa returns to action Thursday, hosting the Detroit Red Wings. Robin Lehner is expected to start against Detroit.
