Frazer McLaren and Devan Dubnyk were placed on waivers Monday, two days ahead of Wednesday's trade deadline.
The Toronto Maple Leafs forward and Nashville Predators goaltender highlighted Monday's waiver transactions, with Calgary's Chuck Kobasew and Edmonton's Philip Larsen also being placed on waivers.
The 26-year-old McLaren has no points and a minus-3 rating in 26 games with the Leafs this season.
Dubnyk, who was traded from Edmonton to Nashville for Matt Hendricks earlier this season, has played in just two games for his new team this year.
The 29-year-old has an .891 save percentage and 3.43 goals against average this season.
Meanwhile, Davis Drewiske of the Montreal Canadiens cleared waivers Monday and was sent to Hamilton of the AHL.
