The Vancouver Canucks may be without one of their top scorers for the time being.

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports that forward Daniel Sedin is scheduled for an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of a leg injury. Dreger says that the injury is not believed to be knee-related and there is no clear timeframe for his return.

Sedin has 13 goals and 27 assists in 63 games and is tied with his brother Henrik for the Canucks scoring lead. Henrik missed eight games earlier this season with bruised ribs.

Daniel Sedin left Sunday's game against Vancouver after playing two shifts in the second period and did not return.
