Kings sign Lewis to two-year contract extension

The Los Angeles Kings signed forward Trevor Lewis to a two-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season on Tuesday.
 
Lewis, 27, has played in 70 games with the Kings this season, recording 11 points. His six goals are a career-high.
 
In 273 career regular season NHL games (all with the Kings), Lewis has 48 points and 57 penalty minutes. He was selected as the Kings Unsung Hero two straight years. 
 
The 6-1, 198-pound native of Salt Lake City has also appeared in 44 career NHL postseason games, accumulating 16 points. Lewis was a member of the Kings' 2012 Stanley Cup team.
 
Lewis was selected by the Kings in the first round (17th overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
