T.J. Oshie will not play for the St. Louis Blues Friday, a day after a hit to the head forced him to leave Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild early.

Oshie was caught by a high hit by Mike Rupp Thursday and remained on the ice for a while before being helped to the bench.

Rupp was given a match penalty for the hit and on Friday was handed a four-game suspension.

Also out for the Blues on Friday are forwards Derek Roy and Vladimir Sobotka, along with Vladimir Tarasenko, Brenden Morrow and captain David Backes.
