It appears Pete DeBoer isn't going anywhere.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the New Jersey Devils are expected to sign their head coach to a contract extension soon.

DeBoer, who has one year left on his current deal, has coached the Devils the past three seasons, leading the team to the Stanley Cup Final in his first year before losing to the Los Angeles Kings.

The former junior coach has a combined 101-76-34 record in his three years in New Jersey with a final game to play this season on Sunday.

Prior to joining the Devils, DeBoer spent three years as head coach of the Florida Panthers.
