If the Detroit Red Wings can upset the Boston Bruins in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, they could get a boost in the lineup.

According to the Red Wings Twitter feed, Zetterberg plans to practice with the team on Thursday and is aiming for a second round comeback.

Zetterberg, who has been sidelined since he underwent back surgery in late February, was named Sweden's captain at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi but played only one game before going home due to injury.

In 45 games with the Red Wings this season, Zetterberg scored 16 goals and added 32 assists.
