Blackhawks F Bollig suspended two games for hit on Ballard

Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Bollig has been suspended for two games by the NHL Department of Player Safety for his hit from behind on Minnesota Wild defenceman Keith Ballard.

The hit occurred late in the second period of the Wild's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks on Friday night. Ballard did not return to the game.

Bollig was assessed a two-minute minor for boarding on the play.

Game 5 of the series is Sunday at 9pm et/6pm pt (TSN).
