Sabres sign F Adam to one-year, two-way contract

The Buffalo Sabres have locked up Luke Adam for another year.

The team announced Sunday that they have signed Adam to a one-year, two-way contract.

Adam, 24, saw 12 games with the Sabres in 2013-14, registering one goal. He scored a team-leading 29 goals and added 20 assists in 59 games with the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans.

Originally selected in the second round (44th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Adam has appeared in 87 career games with the Sabres, scoring 15 goals and 11 assists.
