The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired forward R.J. Umberger and the 119th pick overall from the Philadelphia Flyers for 19th and 67th picks.

Umberger, who attended Ohio State University in Columbus, was drafted by Vancouver in the first round, 16th overall in 2001.

He was traded to New York Rangers by Vancouver with Martin Grenier for Martin Rucinsky on March 9, 2004, and then signed as a free agent with Philadelphia three months later.

This past season, Umberger had 13 goals and 37 assist after scoring 20 goals in his rookie season.  He also enjoyed an excellent playoff, scoring 10 goals and five assists in 17 games.
