Canadiens sign Desharnais to two-year contract

The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward David Desharnais to a two-year, two-way contract.  Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Desharnais attended Canadiens training camp this season, picking up a pair of assists in three pre-season games. 

In 11 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL this year, the 22-year old has scored three goals and added six assists.
