The Toronto Maple Leafs wasted no time in signing Nazem Kadri.

The club announced on Monday that they signed the 18-year old to a three-year Entry Level contract.  The Leafs selected Kadri with the seventh overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft.

The London, Ontario native placed ninth in the Ontario Hockey League with 53 assists and 15th with 78 points in 2008-09.

Kadri, played a key role in leading the Kitchener Rangers to the OHL championship and the Memorial Cup Final in 2007-08. He collected nine goals and 17 assists during the 2008 Playoffs.
