EDMONTON -- Edmonton Oilers defenceman Sheldon Souray left Thursday's Battle of Alberta against the Calgary Flames after a run-in with Calgary captain Jarome Iginla.
Just 18 seconds into the second period, Souray was helped off the ice after going hard into the boards on a trip by Iginla.
Souray did not return to the game and the early diagnosis was a mild concussion.
Edmonton's Ethan Moreau challenged Iginla to a fight in a clash between the captains a few minutes later.
