Canucks assign Tambellini to AHL's Moose

Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The Vancouver Canucks have assigned forward Jeff Tambellini to Manitoba of the American Hockey League.

The 26-year-old totaled two goals and one assist over six games with Vancouver since being recalled early in the season.

Signed by Vancouver on the first day of free agency this past offseason, the former first-round choice of Los Angeles in the 2003 draft has totaled 20 goals and 29 assists over 186 games in six seasons with the Kings, Islanders and Canucks.
