The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on a three-year NHL entry level contract.

Nugent-Hopkins, who was drafted first overall by the Oilers on June 24th at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, will wear an Oilers jersey for the first time Monday when he participates in the Oilers 2011 Development Camp.

The six-foot-one, 175-pound Burnaby, B.C., native was also drafted first overall by Red Deer of the Western Hockey League and made his debut with the Rebels as an underage player in the 2008-09 season where he registered six points in five games.

In 2009-10, Nugent-Hopkins amassed 65 points (24 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games and was named WHL rookie of the year.
