McKenzie: Kings' Brown entitled to a couple of bad games

Some quick thoughts from the NHL on TSN panel on Sunday night.

We've seen Dustin Brown take over games, and take over series. But he hasn't done that in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final.

He's gone pointless in both games – the first time he's been held pointless for two straight games since the last two games against the Vancouver Canucks in the first round. And not only did he go pointless in Game 2, but he didn't have a single shot on goal; he didn't play very well.

But he's been so good in these playoffs, you have to cut the guy a break. He's just in a little bit of a lull - he's certainly capable of picking his game back up.

Everything he did against the Canucks, St. Louis Blues, and Phoenix Coyotes; he was the single best skater going into this round so he's entitled to a couple of bad games – and he hasn't even played that bad.
