Forward Chris Stewart agreed to terms with the St. Louis Blues on a one-year, $3 million deal on Thursday.

In his first full season with the Blues, Stewart scored 15 goals and added 15 assists for 30 points in 79 games last year.

Stewart was originally drafted 18th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2006 Draft.

He was acquired from the Avalanche along with defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk in February of 2011.

Stewart was scheduled to become a restricted free agent on July 1.
