The Calgary Flames announced Wednesday that the team has signed forward Blake Comeau to a one-year, $1.25 million contract.

Comeau, a native of Meadow Lake, Sakatchewan, has played over 300 career games with 61 goals, 75 assists for 136 points over the course of five NHL seasons with the New York Islanders and Calgary Flames.

Last season after the Flames claimed Comeau off waivers on Nov. 25, Comeau scored five goals and added 10 assist for 15 points in 58 games with Calgary.
