The San Jose Sharks have signed forward Adam Burish to a four-year contract worth $7.2 million.

The 29-year-old Burish recorded a career-high 19 points in 65 games with the Dallas Stars last season.

Burish has played in five-plus seasons with Dallas and the Chicago Blackhawks. In 297 regular season games, Burish has 54 points and 490 penalty minutes.

"Adam is rugged, aggressive and brings a physical presence night in and night out," said Wilson. "He has been on winning teams at every level of hockey and we feel that he brings versatility to our group of forwards"
