The Dallas Stars signed 2012 first-round draft pick Radek Faksa to a standard three-year entry-level contract on Friday.

Faksa was selected by Dallas 13th overall in the 2012 NHL Draft and he is currently participating in the Stars' annual Summer Development Camp.

The 18-year-old centre spent the 2011-12 season with the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League, leading all OHL rookies in goals (29), assists (37), points (66), game-winning goals (6) and plus/minus (+19).

The 6-3, 202-pound center represented the Czech Republic at the 2012 World Junior Championship, recording two goals in six games to help the Czech Republic finish in fifth place. He also played for the Czech Republic at the 2011 Under-18 World Championships and the 2011 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
