The Phoenix Coyotes have signed right wing Nick Johnson to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Johnson scored eight goals and 26 points in 77 games with the Minnesota Wild last season.

The 26-year-old native of Calgary, Alberta was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round (67th overall) of the 2004 Entry Draft.
