Blues, Oshie agree to terms on five-year $20M-plus contract

The St. Louis Blues have agreed to terms on a five-year contract with forward T.J. Oshie worth an average annual value of $4.175 million.

The total value of the deal is $20.875 million.

Oshie, 25, was a restricted free agent after agreeing to a one-year, $2.35 million contract with the team last summer.

In 80 games with the Blues in 2011-12, Oshie scored 19 goals and 35 assists. He would add three assists in nine playoff games.

Originally selected in the first round (24th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Blues, the Mt. Vernon, WA-native has spent his entire four-year NHL career in St. Louis. In 262 career NHL games, he has scored 63 goals and 112 assists while amassing 131 penalty minutes.
