The Ottawa Senators have re-signed forward Kaspars Daugavins to a one-year contract.

The deal is worth $635,000.

Daugavins had five goals and six assists in 65 games with Ottawa last season.

The 24-year-old was selected by the Senators in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
