The Montreal Canadiens have invited Halifax Mooseheads forward Luca Ciampini to next month's training camp.
Ciampini, 18, made the announcement on his Twitter account @lucaciampini on Tuesday.
The Montreal native was taken second overall by the Mooseheads in the 2010 QMJHL draft and was not taken at the NHL draft in June.
He had 11 goals and 24 assists for 35 points in 68 games with Halifax last season.
